Little Zs Zeum Masters
Student groups design and develop short, narrated videos to be uploaded to their brand new classroom blog - a living forum that can be continually updated, reshaped and shared by your class throughout the year.

After brainstorming as a class, breaking into groups and storyboarding, students create unique drawings, collages, and scripts to tell stories. Using various technological tools we bring our creations to life in video format and broadcast our voices across the internet.

The videoblog workshop develops literacy and math skills through storytelling and sequencing, and emphasizes creativity, communication, patience and cooperation.

The videoblog activity can be adapted to almost any classroom curriculum and provides an engaging learning platform to explore a wide array of topics. For example, students can animate a scene from a play or novel, represent a scene from history, or illustrate a scientific discovery. Zeum Educators work closely with teachers to incorporate specific curricular and technological needs to ensure the ongoing relevance and vibrancy of this media-making fieldtrip.
